Why do you need communication rules?

How should you store communication rules’ data?

What does the UI for the Communication rules module look like?

A communication rule defines who can communicate with whom inside the system. Communication is the process of sending messages or asking for something from a sender (source) to a receiver (destination). By defining communication rules in the system, we can control who can communicate with whom.

The Communication Rule has a source and a destination, plus communication options. Source : This is the first part in communication. It represents the sender of the communication message. A source can be Level, Organization, Position, Position Type, Role, Person, or Group. For Level, Organization, and Group it’s possible to select items from inside these entities. For example, if the source is a group, you can specify whether the source is all the members of the group or a subset of the members.
